My Local Mercedes Dealer is Weird. You can buy a C200, E250, or B200 in manual, no matter is that a Sedan, Coupe, or Wagon. But if you add any options to the car, you have to sacrifice that manual transmission. This is very weird..

That's extremely stupid. Of course, in the US, as a way of cementing the "luxury" status, there were decades here in which one could simply not get a non-auto Mercedes. I would love to have a stick in my W124 - while the auto suits the nature of the car well, it robs power and has already been (badly) rebuilt once.

But here in the US if you buy any Mercedes you sacrifice the manual trans. :(
My dad was considering a C350 coupe I talked him out of that real fast when he could only get an auto-box.

Yep, me too.
I almost spend 5k on transmission rebuilt. Luckily the previous owner is kind enough to fix it before handing the car to me.

I spent last night configuring the 3 main German brands in basic trim level for the Mercedes C class,BMW 3,AUDI a4). Merc was the most expensive and you could not add a manual. BMW had it as an option at no extra cost (those bastards wont even give you back what they save on the auto switch). And AUDI was by far the cheapest but best equip car with a manual (it add you 4 wheel drive as well).
40k for a well equiped A4, 44k for a 3 series, and 47k for a C-class (at least in the US configurator).
*all cars had all season 18 inch tires, leather interior, upgraded infotainment with parking sensors)

Well, the C200 in my post cost you arround the same 40k, but as basic as it can possibly be.
